Rates are what you decide to charge people to park/store their items. You have full control over what you charge. You can set different prices to different Item categories and or spaces. Rates can also be set for varying periods of time such as daily, weekly, monthly or seasonal
To Create a Rate:- Go to

- Enter the Rate’s

(This could be specific such as 49er. Or it could be more general such as Ground spaces or Wide boats) - Give the Rate a
Description
(For Wide Boats description could be: Beam > 2m) - Set a

(This will mean you won’t become over booked & any more bookings over this number for the item category will go into the waitlist) - Select what

Discounts give you more control on how you charge those who stay at your location. A discount is applied to a “Daily Rate”For example you can set a “10% discount after 7 days”You can create as many discounts as you like. For example we can have “10% discount after 7 days” & “20% discount after 14 days”To Create a Discount:

A Category defines what different types of items are (eg: class of a boat such as a Waszp). This helps to differentiate boats or items such as trailers on your platform, so you can more easily manage your boat park.To Create a Category:

A location is the general ‘overall area’ for where you park your boats. For example a location could be the “Howth Yacht Club”, “Boat platform”, “Dinghy park”, “Marina”, “Moorings” etc.To Create a New Location:

To Connect scanner (storage mode):
- Ensure the barcode scanner is set to store scans
- In Park Turtle go to scans —>
Upload Scans

Once this is done, scan 5 qr codes on boats
2. Now back in the office connect your scanner to your PC- This can be done either by Bluetooth or by plugging in the USB connector
3. When connected, In Park Turtle go toScans
—>Upload Scans
4. Click into the large text area box- you will see 3 large qr codes on the right side of the screen
5. Scan the Qr code labelledTotal amount of barcodes stored
- This will show you how many scans you completed
6. Next, clear the text area box and click into the box again
7. Then Scan the first Qr code labelledData Upload
8. The stored scans should then type out into the text area box
9. Once complete click theSubmit Item Codes

10. Now double check in your dashboard that scans were uploaded and reference to see if the correct number has scanned
11. You then must clear the scanner so it's ready for the next scan- Go back to
Scans
—>Upload Scans
- Scan the Qr code labelled
Clear stored barcode scanner data
- Ensure the barcode scanner is set to store scans
