Location Area's & Spaces: What is a Location and How do I create one?

A location is the general ‘overall area’ for where you park your boats. For example a location could be the “Howth Yacht Club”, “Boat platform”, “Dinghy park”, “Marina”, “Moorings” etc.

To Create a New Location:

1. Go to Settings
2. Select Locations
3. Select New Location
4. Give this Location a Name (Eg: Boat Park)
5. Give the Location a Description if you like
6. Select the appropriate boxes for Published ,Display Allocated Space , Customers Choose Space and Waitlist
7. Select Create Location

Location Area's & Spaces: What is an Area and How do I add one?

An Area is a smaller set within a location. For example in our Location “Howth Yacht Club” we have an “Area” known as “Boat Park” or more specific “Optimist Rack”. This breakdown of location to Area will enable you to more easily manage your parking / storage preferences

To Create a New Area:

1. Go to Settings
2. Select Areas
3. Select New Area
4. Give this Area a Name (Eg: Optimist rack)
5. Match this are to a Location
6. Select Create Area

Location Area's & Spaces: What are Spaces and How do I add one?

Spaces are the individual parking/storage spots for the items that you are storing. Each space is placed in a corresponding ‘location’ and ‘Area’. This enables you to more easily manage your storage and parking

To Create a New Space:

1. Go to Settings
2. Select Spaces
3. Select New Space
4. Give this Space a Name (Eg: W1 —> ‘Waszp 1’) and a description
5. Match this space to a Location and Area
6. Select Create Space
